Wuhbu Roadmap
One price, free updates for life — here's what that means in practice. No dates, because a one-parent studio doesn't do well with dates, but this is the order things are coming.
Version 1.0 Launched Sept 2026
Six games for ages 2–4 — get it on the App Store:
- Bubbles — pop, release stars, hunt for the gold one
- Shapes — drag shapes into their outlines
- Animals — match the boy and girl cat, dog, cow, pig, frog and duck; each says its name and makes its sound
- Paint — fat crayons, a rainbow crayon and stickers
- Piano — eight big keys to tap or slide
- Fireflies — catch them in the jar
Plus a press-and-hold parent gate, a play timer, sound and music toggles, and no internet needed.
Version 1.0.1 Launched Sept 2026
- Real kids' voices — each boy animal says its name in a boy's voice and each girl animal in a girl's voice, recorded by our own testers
Version 1.1 Launched Sept 2026
- Frosty — wipe the frost off the window to find a surprise underneath: a park, the sea, outer space, a farm, a starry night
- Blocks — tap to drop wooden blocks, stack them high, swipe to knock them down
- iPhone support — the same app, one purchase, on every iPhone and iPad in the house
Version 1.2 Launched Oct 2026
- Feed Wuhbu — the purple friend is hungry; drag the food to its mouth (and watch what happens with the shoe)
- Autumn at Wuhbu — Wuhbu dresses up for the season: falling leaves on the home screen, a cosy pumpkin-orange hat, candy apples and pie to share, and a pumpkin-patch surprise in Frosty (October only)
- Nine games, now on a tidy three-by-three home screen
Version 1.3 Next
- Every season — Wuhbu changes with the calendar all year round, all by itself:
- Winter — gentle snowfall, a woolly bobble hat, gingerbread and cocoa, and a snowy village to find in Frosty
- Spring — drifting petals, a flower to wear, and a flower meadow in Frosty
- Summer — sunshine and butterflies, sunglasses, an ice lolly, and a day at the beach in Frosty
- Seasons come from the date on your device. No location, no internet, nothing to set up.
- Small polish based on what families tell us
Later Ideas
- Spanish (and other languages) for the animal names
- More games — we add, never charge
- A bigger-kid Wuhbu for ages 4–6 with puzzles, letters and numbers
