Wuhbu Privacy Policy
Effective September 5, 2026
Wuhbu is an iPad app for young children published by Wide Essentials. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with information. The short version: nothing.
Information we collect
Wuhbu does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, from children or adults. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party software development kits. It does not access the internet.
Information stored on your device
Your preferences (sound on/off, music on/off, play-timer length) are saved only on your iPad, using Apple's standard app settings storage. They never leave the device and are deleted when the app is deleted.
Children's privacy
Wuhbu is designed for children under 5 and is offered in the App Store Kids category. Because the app collects no information at all, it does not collect personal information from children as defined by the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws elsewhere.
Purchases
Wuhbu is a one-time purchase made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment and receipts under Apple's own privacy policy; we never see your payment details.
Links and external content
Children cannot tap anything that leaves the app. The only outbound link is a "Rate Wuhbu" button that opens the App Store, and it sits inside the grown-ups' settings behind a press-and-hold parental gate.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Wuhbu ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the app's App Store privacy details before that version is released.
